W H A T T O E X P E C T
CrosswayChurch is lively and informal, with something for people of all ages and very much a family feel. We are a small but growing congregation of about 55 people, with around 35-40 people on any given Sunday attending our main service at 11am. From 10:45am we now have pre-service worship for anyone who would like to come along and spend some time in prayer and worship before the service.
Throughout our 11am service we combine lively, contemporary music with some of the best traditional hymns that are known to many people. We have a talk specifically for children and often a children’s song that ensures they get fully involved in the service.
Part way through the service, the children and young people meet in their own groups, (5-7s, 8-11s, 12-15s and 16+). A crèche is also provided every Sunday morning.
On the first Sunday of the month, we share communion. After the service there is an opportunity to catch up with people and to make new friends over a tea or coffee, which is served downstairs in the coffee lounge.
We also have a library of books available to borrow after each service, while tea and coffee are served.
