Future plans
Crossway Church is currently located on the Heygate Estate, which after 35 years is being demolished by Southwark Council as part of the wider £1.5bn Elephant and Castle regeneration scheme. We are currently working closely with Southwark Council to develop a new church building at the heart of the development, from which we will be able to deliver various services and undertake a range of community projects.
The new community development charity that we are currently setting up will open up some significant opportunities and enable us to increase our capacity for undertaking community-based work ahead of moving into a new building within the future Elephant and Castle development.
