As a church we are heavily involved in community life and we want to ensure that we are supporting families in whatever way we can. As well as providing a service for the whole family on Sunday mornings and various activities throughout the week for children and youth, we also run a Parent and Toddler Group:
Crosspatch Parent and Toddler Group
Cross-patch meets weekly on Tuesday mornings between 10am-12pm during term-time for carers and children under five. It's purpose is to offer a meeting place and a place where children can play safely. Refreshments (tea/coffee/squash/biscuits and fruit) are provided. The leadership of Cross-patch is provided and supervised by Crossway United Reformed Church. Crossway URC undertakes to provide a safe environment and plays equipment. However, carers are responsible for the safety and behaviour of the children they bring and the leadership of Cross-patch is not the responsible for this. The cost per week is £1 per child over the age of one year up to the maximum of three children. We sometimes welcome 'visitors' but please check first.
